Ab Roll Outs

Potentially the most important muscle group, the core is composed of all the muscle from hips to shoulders. It effects full body movements as well as maintaining posture throughout movements. The core effects the transfer of energy from the lower to upper body. A strong core improves all aspects of golf from maintaining posture to increasing club head speed as well as helps prevent injuries

Starting position:

Using any various ab wheels or rollers, start by kneeling on a pad, in a quadruped position, hands on wheel.

Movement:

Bracing the abdominals, to maintain a straight or neutral spine throughout the movement, extend at the knees, hips and shoulders moving the wheel or roller away from the knees as far as you can without sacrificing spine, or shoulder posture.

Notes: for precautions, if you get past a point of comfort, try to lower yourself to the ground instead of forcing yourself back, to avoid hip or shoulder injury.
