Hamstring Stretch On Door

Flexibility and mobility are key to optimal body movement and swing mechanics. Creating and maintaining mobile joints and muscles allow for optimal muscle and joint movements, both in the gym, as well as on the course

Positioning:

Lying flat on your back next to a Door or wall. Start with knees bent and bring the leg next to the door up onto the frame with the leg straight. Move close enough to the door until you feel a stretch in the back of the hamstring and knee. Be sure to leave your hips on the ground not lifted or twisted.

Notes: To increase the stretch once your hip is only a few inches away from the door so they progressed your bent leg out straight to the ground.

The purpose of stretching is to create a stretch you can hold comfortably, do not force a stretch, or push to where the muscle trembles
