Single Arm Cable Row, No Rotation

Stability through the low back, and lumbar spine allows for maintaining your posture throughout your swing, and allows a transfer of power from the lower body to the upper body and arms

Starting position:

With the cable set to elbow level, stand facing the single pully, handle in one hand. Maintain an upright posture. Slight bend in the knees and hips, spine in neutral.

Movement:

Be sure that feet, hips, and shoulders stay facing attachment point, with no body rotation, or movement. Start the pulling motion by retracting the shoulder blades, then continue to retract the shoulders as you pull the elbow directly past your rib cage. Maintain neutral spine, Return to start position.

Notes: Foot position can vary from neutral, to offset, wide to narrow. Hand position may vary, (prone, neutral, supine, or rotating when pulling)
