Single Arm Cable Row, With Rotation
Stability through the low back, and lumbar spine allows for maintaining your posture throughout your swing, and allows a transfer of power from the lower body to the upper body and arms
Starting position:
With the cable set to elbow level, stand facing the single pully, handle in one hand. Maintain an upright posture. Slight bend in the knees and hips, spine in neutral, then allow the weight of the pully to rotate your hand towards the attachment point rotating from the torso, while the elbow of your free hand side retracts away from the attachment.
Movement:
Be sure that feet, hips, stay facing attachment point, allow the upper body to rotate to the side of the pull by retracting the shoulder blades, then continue to retract the shoulders as you pull the elbow directly past your rib cage, while reaching towards the attachment point with the opposite hand, Return to start position.
Notes: Foot position can vary from neutral, to offset, wide to narrow. Hand position may vary, (prone, neutral, supine, or rotating when pulling)
