Step Up

The Quadricep muscle group helps develop strength and lower body power through out the swing. And assists in hip stability, and vertical force

Starting position:

Start by standing behind a step, height can vary.

Movement:

Begin by placing one foot fully on to the step. With a slight forward lean to the body, load most of your body weight on you front, elevated foot. The rest of the body should be in a line from head to back heel.

Drive through the heel and midfoot of the up leg, to lift your body up on to the step. The back leg should do minimal work. Lower the back leg back down to the ground, controlling your decent. Complete reps before switching legs, or alternate reps.

Notes: Complete repetitions on each side, or alternate for a chosen amount of repetitions
