Straight Arm Kettlebell Carries

Efficient shoulder range of motion arm positioning in the swing, and the ability to manipulate shots

Starting position:

Start with bell near the shoulder. Holding a kettlebell with a straight wrist, and bell resting on the forearm. Retract shoulders to maintain posture and press overhead so that the bell is directly over the shoulder, and palm is facing forward.

Movement:

Maintaining an upright posture and level shoulders, walk in a normal walking stride, while keeping the arm and kettlebell in position. Do not allow the kettlebell to drop, or tip to one side.

Notes: Increase level of stability and difficulty by various change of directions while walking.
