Straight Arm Lat Pulldown

Stability through the low back, and lumbar spine allows for maintaining your posture throughout your swing, and allows a transfer of power from the lower body to the upper body and arms

Starting position:

Handle height may vary from shoulders, or above.In a standing position facing the handles, maintain a straight, but not locked out arm position. Knees and hips slightly bent, athletic torso posture, neutral spine.

Movement:

Start the pulling motion by retracting the shoulder blades, then continue to retract the shoulders as you pull the straight arm from the high position down to thr fronts of your thighs. Maintain neutral spine and upright posture, and keep shoulders retracted throughout movement. Return to start position.
