Barbell Squat

The Quadricep muscle group helps develop strength and lower body power through out the swing. And assists in hip stability, and vertical force

Starting position:

Standing tall, place the barbell on your upper back. Start off using very light weight. Hold the barbell in place and do not let it move

Movement:

Slowly squat down, no further than your thighs making a 90 degree angle. Head and back staying tall, exhale during the movement.

Finish position:

Thighs should be at a 90 degree angle, head up, back tall. Hold for one second, slowly rise up back to starting position.
