Behind Back Wrist Curls

Forearm strength and mobility allow for optimal movement of the wrist and hands, to create proper alignment of the club and clubface, and transferring the final piece of the sequential power from the arms to the club

Starting position:

Standing tall, holding the barbell behind you, with the back of your hands planted right under your glutes

Movement:

Without letting your arms bend, curl the barbell upwards using only your wrist. Contracting the forearms as you raise

Finish position:

The wrist will be fully cupped and you can’t go any further. Hold the barbell for one second while contracting the forearms, then lower barbell back to starting position
