Front Plate Raise

Efficient shoulder range of motion arm positioning in the swing, and the ability to manipulate shots

Starting position:

Standing upright, using a desired weighted plate, grab the plate at the 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock positions. Arms are fully extended and in a locked position

Movement:

At a slow pace, raise the plate while maintaining arm extension.

Finish position:

The plate should reach just past parallel. Making sure to exhale on the way up. Inhale and slowly bring wait back down to start position
