Hip Abduction
The most dominant muscle group in the golf swing, the glutes, are the powerhouse of hip strength and rotational power. The glutes have several functions throughout the swing. Stability of the hips, limiting lateral movement maintaining posture through the swing, and creating both rotational, and vertical power through impact
Starting position:
With your behind firmly planted in the machine, back straight and against the back support, have both legs on the inside of the pads, starting inches away from each other.
Movement:
Slowly push the pads outwards, exhaling during the movement
Finish position:
Extend the pads to you hit your limit. Do not over extend your hips. Hold and contract for one second, then slowly bring pads back to starting position
