Hip Adduction

The most dominant muscle group in the golf swing, the glutes, are the powerhouse of hip strength and rotational power. The glutes have several functions throughout the swing. Stability of the hips, limiting lateral movement maintaining posture through the swing, and creating both rotational, and vertical power through impact

Starting position:

With your behind firmly planted in the machine, back straight and against the back support, have both legs on the outside of each pad

Movement:

Slowly bring the pads closer to each other while exhaling

Finish position:

The pads should be inches apart, hold for one second while contracting the hips. Slowly return to starting position
