Power Laterals

Efficient shoulder range of motion arm positioning in the swing, and the ability to manipulate shots

Starting position:

Standing upright, have a dumbbell in each hand, resting at your side

Movement:

While maintaining straight arms, raise the dumbbells slowly out to the side, exhaling on the way up

Finish position:

The dumbbells should reach slightly above shoulder height. Feel the contraction at the top, inhale and slowly bring back down to your sides.
