#5 The “Angle Up” Swing

Swing up on the ball to eliminate unwanted spin and achieve “long drive” distance.

After all the work you’ve put in, now comes the easiest part.

Let’s recap.  You’ve teed up your ball so 75% is above your club head. Your torso is directly over your trail leg.  Your head is lagging back as the transition to your downswing starts.

You’ve created the ideal secondary tilt.  Now what?

                                 ● Simply swing up on the ball and watch it fly!

Remember, hitting up on the ball reduces side spin and maximizes your ball speed.  Plus,  reduced spin gives you the longest and straightest drives possible.

NOTE:  They say “well begun is half done.”  In golf it’s 99% done. That means if you’ve done tips 1-4 the right way, the up swing should happen by itself.
