P-9 Trail arm parallel to the ground after impact

In this phase or position, the body is not working hard but extending and relaxing back against the momentum of the club. The body is staying behind the club and allowing the club’s inertia to pull the arms out to extension. The shaft may appear to cross over but the handle has still worked hard on an arc to help keep the club face control at full speed. When the player pushes from the ground and uses the Ground Reaction Force (GRF) properly, the finish 2 positions of the swing almost take care of themselves. The weight or pressure should ideally work more into the heel and the outside of the front foot. The trail foot is banked in and the trail knee and hip have rotated more inside the target line. This will allow the front hip to rotate internally and fully clear back. When the hips clear in this manner the upper body and shoulders are able to free wheel and fully release through the shot. The shoulders are still on an incline and are not level to the ground. The neck and head are on an angle the is consistent with the body inclines and spine angle. Video and inserts.
