Uneven Lies – Ball Above Your Feet
Sure, uneven lies make golf challenging. But it’s a part of the game. Here’s what to do when the ball is above your feet:
1) Again, the ball will naturally follow the “gravity fall line.” With the ball above your feet, it’ll go to the left. Like a draw.
2) Aim right. If the slope is severe, it may bend as much as 20 – 25 yards. If it’s mild, aim about 10 yards right. Practice will guide you.
TIP: With the ball above the feet, you should grip down to shorten the grip. Try keeping your knees a bit straighter (less bend) than usual.
